unfinished ron weasley's chudley cannons blanket

I just finished the blanket part of Ron Weasley's blanket. I started on the letters but I'm having trouble on the quidditch player in the middle. Any advise or criticisms are welcome, as its only my second knitting project ever.
I don't think its going to happen but I'm trying to get it done before Christmas for my sister's present. I don't think its going to happen...
